The Denver Community Golf League will begin once again on Thursday April 3rd at Westport Golf Club. Register on-line at www.denverbaptist.org
- Based on week’s field, players will be grouped in foursomes of A-B-C-D players. For example, a player whose handicap is a 12 could be an A player one week, and a C player the next, depending upon skill level of players competing that week.
- Format is a 9-hole 2 Best Ball Texas Scramble. Each player in the foursome will hit their drive. The best drive will be selected. Each player will play his/her own ball from that position until holed out. The best 2 scores of the team on the hole will count. So basically, it is normal play accept on the drive which will be captain’s choice.
- Prizes will be awarded for 1st. If 6 or more teams compete, 1st and 2nd Places will be awarded.
- Deadline for registering in 2pm day of play.
- Cost is $15 which includes cart fee and prize pool
- Play will be alternated week-to-week on both the front side and the back side.
- Play open to men and women 16 years of age and older.
- 5:30pm Shotgun Start

League will run from April 3rd – June 5th. June 5th will be an 18 Hole Finale which will tee off at 3pm with supper to follow.
